About This Route

After one short stretch on poorly paved/gravel parallel to the canal du midi towpath the remainder is on quiet roads between pretty villages. Aigne has a restaurant/bar welcoming cyclists to their terrace and there are many tourist places in Minerve if you divert into the town. Tramontane (NW wind) may be a bigger problem than the climbs. Spectacular views across the gorge between La Caunette and Minerve. A welcome swoop down to Cesseras after the climb past Minerve.
