About this route
By train from Ribadeo to Soto Luiña (village of Soto de Luiña) (11:30, 18:41, takes two and a half hours for €7.5), which is about 5 km from Playa de la Vallina (near the village of Ouviñana). Monumental beach! (close to Playa del Silencio, which is probably not worth visiting). The most beautiful beaches are all around in the area.
In the evening, you can ride about ten kilometres to a smaller, more ordinary beach surrounded by forests and the La Magdalena stop (from there, a train leaves for Oviedo at 14:02, 21:19, takes 2.5h, €4.65).
Or stay at Playa de la Vallina and leave Soto Luiña for Oviedo at 13:49, 21:05.
