About this route
Dejando el coche en Villarcayo, donde hay un parque muy grande y una playa fluvial, hay que salir por la BU 561 hacia Santelices. Puentedey esta a 12 km a mano derecha, dejando la carretera principal allí. Se puede bañar allí también. Hay que pasar por debajo del antiguo puente, de las vías del Ferrocarril Santander Mediterráneo hacia Ahedo de Linares. Allí se sale del pueblo y a 500m a la izquierda dirección Ojo Guareña. Hay una subida fuerte pero corta y arriba una vista preciosa. Llegando al siguiente cruce se puede subir a Ojo Guareña o pasar directamente a Cornejo. Desde allí la carretera va al lado del rio Trema hacia Villarcayo otra vez.
