Dejando el coche en Villarcayo, donde hay un parque muy grande y una playa fluvial, hay que salir por聽 la BU 561 hacia Santelices. Puentedey esta a 12 km a mano derecha, dejando la carretera principal all铆. Se puede ba帽ar all铆 tambi茅n. Hay que pasar por debajo del antiguo puente, de las v铆as del Ferrocarril Santander Mediterr谩neo hacia Ahedo de Linares. All铆 se sale del pueblo y a 500m a la izquierda direcci贸n Ojo Guare帽a. Hay una subida fuerte pero corta y arriba una vista preciosa. Llegando al siguiente cruce se puede subir a Ojo Guare帽a o pasar directamente a Cornejo. Desde all铆 la carretera va al lado del rio Trema hacia Villarcayo otra vez.
