About this route
Park the car in Frías next to the Ebro river. You need to cross the bridge towards Quintana-Martín Galíndez. At the end of the climb, there are the best views of the castle and village of Frías. Descending through the village, continue along the BU 530 until the first junction signposted Gabanes on the left. You need to go to Herrán where you can follow a path through the gorge of the Purón river. Then turn back and descend again to Quintana-Martín Galíndez. There, you need to find the road that goes through Montejo de Cebas and Frías where you can swim under the medieval bridge.
