A good route for cyclists from Maryino and nearby districts.

The first half of the route goes along a bike path through the Park of Moscow's 850th Anniversary on the embankment of the Moskva River. In Kapotnya, the bike path ends, but you can comfortably ride up to the MKAD on the sidewalk along the road, where there are few pedestrians.

Crossing the MKAD is the most unpleasant part of the route. You need to be extremely attentive and cautious, yield to everyone, and observe traffic rules.

After the MKAD, problems begin for those who prefer riding on sidewalks: unfortunately, in the city of Dzerzhinsky, there are no curb cuts at sidewalk crossings with the roadway. So you either ride in the traffic flow or get off the bike to overcome each curb obstacle.

This section is relatively short, from the 7th to the 9th kilometer of the route.

At the 9th kilometer, you can turn left toward a small quarry with white sand. But it is very crowded there, and I would recommend going further along Ugreshskaya Street to the dead end and turning into the forest on a dirt path. After a couple of minutes, this offers a nice view of a large quarry. There will be a high steep bank here, but it is possible to find a descent to the water. However, the places on the small beaches at these descents are usually occupied by visitors.

If you continue to the eastern part of the quarry, the chances of finding a 'spot' on the sand will be much greater. The bank there is gentler, and the beaches are more spacious.
