Niederkirchen - Altrip - Otterstadt - Niederkirchen

The route starts in Niederkirchen and passes through Meckenheim (Pfalz), Hochdorf-Assenheim, Dannstadt-Schauernheim, Mutterstadt, and Maudache to Ludwigshafen – more precisely into the garden city. From here it continues via Rheingönnheim (passing the Kief pond and the Silbersee) onto the Rhine cycling path. Around Altrip, the route follows the main Rhine dike past weekend homes, campsites, and gravel pits to Otterstadt (the route can be extended to Speyer in suitable weather and with enough fitness). This time it goes through Otterstadt to Waldsee and finally to Schifferstadt. Passing the water tower, it goes completely through Schifferstadt and, on leaving the town, turns right onto field paths between large vegetable fields along and beyond the railway line to Böhl (Böhl-Iggelheim). The tour then continues towards Meckenheim and back to Niederkirchen.
