La Zubia - La Cortijuela (a través del pinar)

<p><strong>Ascent from La Zubia to the Botanical Garden at the source of La Cortijuela.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>The ascent begins at the municipal pool of La Zubia, where there is room to park the car). It is a moderate and steady climb.</p> <p> </p> <p>The first 2 km are on a path, nothing technical, through a pine forest. Then it becomes a wide track that goes up to Cumbres Verdes. We pass by the Hervidero spring, where we can stop to collect water if needed.</p> <p> </p> <p>1 km from the Hervidero spring, we will have a few hundred meters of descent to line up the final climb that will take us to La Cortijuela. At La Cortijuela, there is a forest house, a drinking water spring, and an open botanical garden.</p> <p> </p> <p>An intermediate-level recreational cyclist can complete it in 2 hours of climbing without stops and 40 minutes of descent.</p> <p> </p> <p>100% bikeable</p>
