This route I ride as training in north-west wind: go against the wind, come back with the wind. Great! From Steller station via the Penellweg and the old Lüneburg road to the B4 (good bike path) to the Winsener roundabout. Turn left onto Hamburger Str., and then left again onto Hoopter Str. Behind Stöckte, Elbuferstr. begins. Now until Harburg, there is little traffic (on Sundays, some day-trippers), smooth road and free ride. In Harburg, parallel to the city highway over the Elbe, past the Finkenriek cemetery until Kornweide street. Now under the highway, and the next low-traffic, smooth road section begins. At the Affi parking lot on Veddel, you can take a break (bench) and recover from the tour against the wind. And then back with a tailwind!! At Fliegenberg, turn onto Steller Chaussee: here the wind blows again strong from the side. Then back to Steller station.
