Das Einfädeln der Route von Zürich bis Thalwil ist etwas städtisch. Die Sihltalstrasse kann sehr schnell gefahren werden. Seit der Eröffnung der A4 und der Üetlibergtangente herrscht auf der Sihltalstrecke meist kein Verkehr mehr. Sonntags sollte man die Strecke meiden (Sonntagsfahrer).
