Apriteņo Smiltenes ezerus

29 km long circular cycling route of medium difficulty, which mostly runs on good quality gravel and forest paths, but a smaller part is covered with asphalt. Suitable for cycling from May to October. The route allows you to enjoy the characteristic landforms of this area, beautiful landscapes, refresh yourself in 7 forest lakes, and get acquainted with the natural and cultural heritage, local residents, traditions, and culture. The route winds along the Smiltene evangelical Lutheran Church, the historic Kalnamuiža complex, the Niedrāja Lake and its surroundings, the lake in the shape of Latvia's contours, the notable Pārkalnu money stone, the Silvas dendrological park, the impressive Cērtenes hillfort, and many smaller natural objects.
