Signage This route is not signposted. In a few places, it refers to the cycling junction network. The brochure with route description can be downloaded below. The Utrechtse Heuvelrug is green, with forests up to two hundred years old. At its foot lies the Stichtse Lustwarande, where the wealthy planted their hunting estate with impressive park forests. This bike ride connects the forests and estates. Many avenues, roads, and paths along the route are adorned with magnificent rows of trees, even within the built-up area of Driebergen. At times, these are monumental beeches or oaks, but sometimes also Corsican pines or horse chestnuts. The route visits two green gems, where tree lovers will undoubtedly dismount from their bikes. In Doorn, this is the Von Gimborn Arboretum and in Rijsenburg the Heath Garden.
