About This Route

Starting point / trailhead Mountain station of the Leogang Bergbahn cable car Point of arrival Valley station of the Leogang Bergbahn cable car Turn-by-turn directions The tour starts with a trip on the cable car up to the Asitz mountain station (lift pass required!). After completing the first trail (pushing the bike along a short section) with dreamy panoramic views, the route follows uphill and downhill sections to the Thurneralm. From here, it continues on along a magnificent woodland and meadow trail to the Spielberg plateau. Then, cycle past the Spielberghaus and Burgeralm and along a forest trail down to the Gasthaus Eiserne Hand in Fieberbrunn. Another short climb takes you to Hochfilzen. The return journey follows a comfortable cycle trail past the Griessener Moor and bach to Leogang. Equipment Knee and elbow protectors recommend, depending on ability level. Getting there when you come from Saalfelden : about 4 km after the village entrance Leogang - turn left to the Leogang cable car. when you come from Tyrol : about 9 km after the village entrance Hochfilzen - turn right to the Leogang cable car
