Bienno - Capo di Ponte - Bienno

The itinerary starts from the B&B L'orto di BaLù (Bienno) and leads to Capo di Ponte before returning to the starting point. On the way there, a stretch of the provincial cycle-pedestrian path is used, while on the return, one rides along the intermunicipal cycle-pedestrian path connecting Capo di Ponte to Losine. The route is not suitable for road bikes but is ideal for touring bicycles and MTBs. In Capo di Ponte, we recommend visiting:

• the prehistoric rock carvings, the first UNESCO site to be recognized at the Italian level;
• the MUPRE, the Museum of Prehistory;
• the church of San Siro and the monastery of San Salvatore (remarkable examples of Romanesque architecture). N.B. Check the opening hours of the monuments before visiting them.
