The project 'Stones and More' is a collaboration of the municipalities of Anröchte and the cities of Erwitte, Geseke, and Warstein. Under the motto 'Experience cultural and extraction landscapes', existing cycling paths are interconnected into a thematic cycling route, creating a network that leads to the most important points of stone extraction. The cycling map thus becomes a 'treasure map' that shows what mineral resources the Soest district has to offer. In each municipality, viewing points and landscape windows are being created as part of the project, making stone extraction tangible and drawing the attention of visitors with special installations. Warstein attracts with the Hillenberg climbing park. The municipalities of Erwitte and Anröchte also plan to invite to adventure tours at the edge of their quarries in the future. A special detour is the Geseker 'Dyckerhoff Park', the theme park of the cement plant of the same name. Here, guests can observe blasting, loading, and transport of stone. Additionally, the park features installations about the 'Myth of Stone'. Those fortunate enough to find an ancient shell imprint here can take it as a souvenir.
