About this route

The path to the historic round village of Lüben leads through wide landscapes. Passing several small places and less-traveled roads, one reaches the edge of the bird and nature reserve of Schweimker Moor / Lüderbruch. The Lüderan St. Bartholomew's Church, built 640 years ago, once served as a pilgrimage church for the Isenhagen monastery. Nearby, the "Giant of Lüder" has found its place. The 45-ton boulder is one of the largest geological objects of its kind in Lower Saxony.
