…and experienced again freshly. At the beginning of the route, it is still quite manageable, also regarding the surfaces.

From the old mining facility, it gets a bit trickier. The access is before the old zebra crossing, 90° left into the wide bush clearing. That path is partially well overgrown, but everything is rideable.

At the end, you gradually encounter a left-right combination, be careful of your head = duck down because of bushes & branches, onto a tractor path. This one is, when tractors have been there and it has rained, rather muddy. The fun begins.

After the left curve, it steadily goes uphill until you reach the plateau. There is then the access on the left hand to the connection over to the Cappenberger Forest or to a parking lot for hikers.

This connection descends continuously, forest floor, leaves, and a few nettles sweeten the descent. At the end of the elongated left-right curve, simply go straight. But be careful, when you can already see the access, between two trees, ride nicely to the right side past the tree. Because only there is a rideable route. The rest of this little ramp is built out with a wooden board as a step. Of course, you could also race down there.

If you ride this connection back, you turn right, still a bit across the meadow/field until a small access becomes visible in the back left corner.

In this access, roll in slowly, because there's a seriously wet dip there that you can't see at first. On top of that, one should make a good right turn there. Once you have made it past the wet dip, turn right. (The path straight ahead is completely overgrown and neither rideable nor walkable!)

So, if you follow the right path, you ride over a narrow trail where a thick fallen tree lies on the way. So far, you can still ride under it, but ducking and of course going slow is necessary.

Once you've gotten past that part, there follows a multiple left-right combination, partly with dips and some root ground. Watch out when it's wet.
