Haßberg-Giro: Teil 2 / Hofheim

In this circular route, we go from the vest city of Coburg to the idyllic Haßberge. The natural landscape of the Haßberge is excellent for conquering on a racing bike. The low mountain range is a hilly area with mixed forests and many, sometimes very small, villages - characterized by the typical Franconian half-timbered style and sandstone architecture. Traffic is light, the roads are rather narrow but with good asphalt.

On the bike, we only see them from a distance: This region has a significant number of historical castles and palaces.

The possibilities for a drink or snack stop on this tour are largely limited to Hofheim and possibly Ebern (if you take a detour over Hambach instead of the Eyrichshofer Berg).

The Haßberge is a cycling area of moderate to intermediate difficulty for trained riders, but it does feature some challenging climbs (e.g., the Eyrichshofer Berg at 15%).

This route only highlights a small part of the nature park. I rode this tour in the golden autumn. It was wonderful!
