The tour runs on little-trafficked side roads, only after merging onto the SS198 above Ussassai is there light vehicle traffic; with significant inclines only at the beginning and end of the route.
Extremely scenic route with recurring views of the natural monument Perda Liana from all directions, as well as the central mountain range of Sardinia with Punta La Marmora; highlight being the view from and surroundings of the Nuraghe Ardasai.
Long descent over Ussassai and a subsequent moderate final ascent.
