<p>Parallel to the Goethewanderweg towards Manebach, a challenging trail winds down into the valley. As far as I know, the whole thing used to be a downhill track.</p>
<p>The best way to reach the start of the trail is via the Schöffenhaus and then continue towards Mönchshof. Just before the Emmastein, there is a small shelter on the left. Just below it, the trail entrance into the forest begins.</p>
