Pte Poveda - Lag. Taravilla - Peralejos - Pte Poveda

From the Poveda Bridge, we take the track towards the Poveda waterfall, where there is a hospitality establishment and through which we pass again on the return. These first kilometers are very comfortable and perfect for warming up. From the houses by the waterfall, a short path leads down (where you will need to get off the bike) that descends to the river where there has been a bridge for some time now, where before you had to ford the river. Once here, we take a track that after a short but steep climb takes us to the Taravilla lagoon. From here we start the circular section heading northwest on a very well-maintained track. Upon reaching a crossroads (near the road that connects Peralejos and Taravilla but not reaching it), we take an eastwards track where we will ascend among pines towards the plateau. Following the path we climbed, after a steep descent, we arrive at the junction with the road to Peralejos de las Truchas. We turn right onto this road until, after passing the urban nucleus of Peralejos, we reach the Martinete Bridge over the Tajo River, where we take the Tajo track (marked as the Natural Camino del Tajo) that will take us back to the Taravilla lagoon. Once at the lagoon, we return retracing the path we took to get here earlier. Don't forget to visit the Poveda waterfall, whether on the way there or back, and of course, enjoy the trail.
