Nice route to blow off some steam. As indicated, a mountain bike is recommended. There are many partly difficult sections. I must have carried my bike over tree trunks about 20 - 25 times ;-) But with any other bike, these tough sections can also be bypassed. There are 2 - 3 options to get a coffee and enjoy the sun - and especially from the Aschberg - the view. 2 to 3 climbs on this route are something we wouldn’t typically expect around here in Schleswig-Holstein, but it's fun. I only roughly sketched the paths through the woods since hiking trails cannot be identified on these maps. So here's a little self-navigation. According to the odometer, it was 115 km! Have fun on this challenging tour.
