Ruta: Subida a Cerro Vico

Cerro Vico is an irregular cone-shaped mountain at 1220 m altitude, located in the south of Albacete Province, between the towns of Villapalacios and Bienservida. The route is one of my favorites and, although I start it for obvious reasons in Villapalacios, it can be done from any other town. The route is mixed, starting on a perfectly paved road, and upon reaching the foot of the hill, it changes to a dirt and loose stone path... The greatest difficulty is the ascent, but for nature lovers, it’s a delight! ... The 'cherry on top' is to climb on foot up to the summit itself (about 200 m) from the circular ring, accompanied by a camera to capture the moment—the surrounding landscape deserves it. For downhill enthusiasts, it’s pure adrenaline to push the descent to the limit...
