7 Manciano - Capalbio - Orbetello

Today, the tour takes us through the Maremma to the sea, and this will be another highlight in terms of scenery. From Manciano, we let the bikes roll downhill for a long time and then proceed on a quiet route to Capalbio. There, we stop, and if there's interest, we take a look at the artists' garden Giardino dei Tarrocchi. Then we continue flat, calm, and beautifully toward the sea. The scenic highlight is the brackish water lake Lago di Burano with its nature conservation center. We also make a short visit here. In the end, the only bike path of the entire tour leads us to the small town of Orbetello, which is bordered by two lagoons, set against the impressive backdrop of Monte Argentario.
