Aschach an der Steyr - Waldneukirchen (Ortszentren, Umgehung von Hauptverkehrsstraßen)

From the center of Aschach, you drive west on the main road, then turn onto the Hohe Berg Straße, which leads steeply down. After that, you can follow the Pichlernstraße L1348 along the way, over the Steyr and back uphill in Pichlern, then sharply left. Now it continues uphill, passing some old farms, then crossing the Steyrtalstraße and at the quarry turning left onto Lackerfeldstraße. This can be followed for about 1 km up to Oberwallern, where the path turns left, onto Wallernstraße, which can be followed for the next 3 km. Along the way, a beautiful rural area is traversed, with some views into the Steyrtal and towards the Alps. Already in the destination town, Wallernstraße turns into Steinersdorfstraße, after a few hundred meters you turn left onto Bad Haller Straße and then immediately right to reach the town hall.
