Arbeitsweg lang Scheuern - Merkur-Luisebrunnen-Gaggenau

Start at Scheuern-Schlosswiesenstrasse

• go down over the railway crossing and over the Murg bridge to Oberstrot
• after the bridge, turn right towards Gernsbach
• after about 500 m, turn left uphill along the path to Eberstein Castle
• at the castle, turn left uphill again
• first towards Armandaschau, but before that turn left towards Saulachhütte
• pass Saulachhütte on the left, always ascending
• follow the yellow bike sign towards Nachtigall (Müllenbild)
• at Nachtigall continue towards Binsenwasen
• from Binsenwasen over Fuchsweg to Merkur (short and sharp)
• back down from Merkur to Wolfsschlucht
• cross the road and immediately turn right before the cafeteria
• after 100 m turn left towards the forest parking lot and always follow the path until, after about 1-2 km, the path makes a steep left turn
• there leave the path to the right and immediately descend to the left on the rough trail
• after the trail follow the normal forest path again in the same direction
• after a sharp right turn (about 1-2 km) turn right onto the next path
• always follow the path until reaching the forest lake swimming area
• there briefly uphill to the right and then immediately left along the forest edge towards Gaggenau
• from there only asphalt.....
