About this route
Ride on a unique, flat MTB loop southeast of Hamm around Welver.
More than half of the route takes you over unpaved meadows / forest / field paths.
This is unusual in this area.
Only about 2 km of the tour are on public land & county roads.
Ideal for beginners of the 'off-road cycling' discipline as the route can be completed 'almost' effortlessly and without technically demanding sections.
Places like Osttünnen, Wambeln, Illingen, Scheidingen, Flerke, Ehningsen, Einecke(rholsen), Klotingen, Welver and Süddinker you more or less leave 'to the side'.
Especially enjoy it in spring when the rapeseed is blooming, or on clear days, the beauty of this otherwise seemingly inconspicuous landscape.
In Welver, the route passes directly by the small 'MTB COURSE' for 'flight-loving' knobby tire sprinters...

One more word about the meadow paths...
If they are not mowed yet, some sections are harder to ride...
The grass can sometimes stand as high as the bottom bracket on the paths...
