R2a Wola Filipowska - Kraków (Mydlniki)

Basic route from Krzeszowice. Quite pleasant except for 1.5 km of dirt road just after Krzeszowice.

1. To Krzeszowice We start from the church in Wola Filipowska and head towards the train stop (to the southwest). After the level crossing, turn right, then twice left. After 2.7 km from the railway crossing, we arrive at an intersection in the forest. Turn left and head to Tenczynek. After 2.5 km, turn left (the road straight ahead goes uphill), after another 2 km turn left and cross an unguarded level crossing on a single-track siding. Ride straight, pass the train station (on the right), and cross DK79 straight ahead. At the roundabout, turn right, then left (at the traffic light junction). After 260 m, turn right onto Żbicka Street.

2. To Modlniczka. Ride along Żbicka Street, pass the church. Cross a viaduct over the railway line and immediately after turn right. Ride 1 km straight and turn right onto Leszczynowa Street. Follow the asphalt road to the end heading east. At the end of the asphalt section, turn left and then immediately right. Ahead is 1.5 km of dirt, worn road. Return to asphalt and at the intersection turn right from the minor road. Cross two narrow bridges with weight restrictions. When you climb up to the intersection with a STOP sign, turn sharply left towards Radwanowice. After 450 m, turn right to Brzezie. Ride straight for 2.3 km, then continue straight and after 500 m turn right. Ride straight, enter Więckowice and after 2.1 km turn right onto Kasztanowa Street. Ride straight for 6.1 km, passing junctions to Karniowice, Bolechowice (to the left) and Zabierzów (also to the left). Then turn right, following priority. Cross DK79 straight ahead (traffic light junction), then take a viaduct over DK94. After a quick descent to Rząska, suddenly turn right, steeply down. Cross a narrow viaduct over the railway line and immediately after turn right. At the priority road, turn left. After 1.3 km, arrive at the 'Mydlniki' bus loop.

3. Further riding. Unfortunately, the Bronowice district lacks good cycling infrastructure. During the World Youth Day (ŚDM) expect heavy coach and pedestrian traffic, so it is recommended to leave the bike nearby.
