Bordeando el embalse Las Palmas

Gentle slope trails on private lands near the reservoir. Yes, I said private. I asked permission from a dog and a fence that didn’t want to stop me when I passed, so they didn’t fulfill their function, hehe.

I took the shopping center at stop 17 and a half as the starting point, and my house as the endpoint.

Asphalt up to the turnoff to Hacienda Las Palmas, the latter a pure gravel descent, reminded me of the descent down Cuesta Balmaceda towards Laguna Verde. After crossing a bridge, you can see a trail behind a fence. Cross the fence and follow the trail by intuition. The trail is well marked but surrounded by many thorny bushes. Eventually, you reach the dam, a good place for photos. Then continue along the creek, and you need to cross 2 more fences to get out to a neighborhood, and return to the asphalt.
