The 70km cycle path is named after the Egergraben, a small geological depression. It crosses the Great Pan of Ponds, located in a hollow with over 2,500 ponds. Many rare plants and animals can be seen here. From the edges of the depression, good distant views are offered. The start and finish is in Waldsassen.
