In Contreras at the end of the village, where the old schools are, turn right onto the road that goes to Sta. Domingo de Silos. The 'Sad Hill Cemetery', where the climactic final scene of the film was shot and which is already celebrating its 50th anniversary, is 3 km away and there is shade. There is still a good climb left. Then it's all downhill to Silos.

Upon arriving at Silos you must cross the entire village and at the roundabout take the exit towards Yecla. The clever ones will hide their panniers and pick them up on the way back. In Yecla be careful with the vultures - it is recommended to appear alive. It's worth descending through the gorge and then descending again to Silos.
