R14b Proszowice - Kraków (Kantorowice)

The R14b route leads from Proszowice to Krakow, allowing for the avoidance of the busy DW776. This route ends at the parish in Kantorowice, but a few kilometers earlier, one can turn off to the bus loop "Kombinat" or to the tram stop "Darwina".

1. To the borders of Krakow. We leave the market square in Proszowice and head west on Krakowska Street. We turn left onto Wawrzeńczyce to bypass the voivodeship road. After 2.2 km in Łąganów, we turn left onto a subordinate road. After 1.1 km, we turn left while remaining on the asphalt road. We pass through Górka Jaklińska, go past a five-way intersection (straight ahead) and continue until the end of the road straight. Then we turn left from the subordinate and go straight for 1.5 km. At the four-way intersection, we turn right onto the subordinate road, and after 360 m, we turn left. We go straight for 1.7 km, then turn right and go straight for 730 m. Then we turn left onto a side road, after another 900 m we go straight (actually slightly to the left), entering the road with priority. We reach Czulice, where first we turn left to Czernichów, and after 220 m to the right. We enter the borders of Krakow, going straight on Sawy-Calińskiego Street towards the Kościelniki estate.

2. In Krakow. After 900 m, we turn right onto Józefa Ostafina Street. We remain on the road with priority and go straight on Barwna Street. We continue straight until the end of the asphalt surface. Then we turn left onto Węgrzynowicką Street. After 1.7 km, we turn right onto Spławy Street, with many railway tracks on the left side of the road. After traveling 1 km, we enter Glinik Street and continue straight for 800 m, then turn left onto Wadowską Street, which after 2.2 km becomes Lubocką Street. After 1.8 km, we turn sharply right onto Darwina Street. After 200 m, we turn left onto Grębałowską Street, after 450 m we turn left circling around the chapel in the middle of the intersection. After 170 m, we turn left onto Geodetów Street, remaining on the road with priority, then (after 140 m) we turn right onto Kantorowicka Street. We cross straight through the intersection with DW776 (Kocmyrzowska Street) and continue on Kantorowicka Street until the "Yield" sign. We cross the intersection straight and continue on Kantorowicka Street until the small bridge over the stream. Right after the bridge, we turn right and arrive at the parish in Kantorowice.

3. Further riding. The route has been designed to end at the church in Kantorowice. However, one can also head towards the bus loop Kombinat (Lubocka Street --> gently left onto Darwina Street --> Blokowa Street --> Mrozowa Street --> Ujastek Street) or to the tram stop Darwina (Lubocka Street --> gently left onto Darwina Street). In these areas, there are not many places to lock up bicycles.
