Trip to Norway 03-07.08.2016

Day 01

First day airport - surroundings of Jorpeland. If there is strength and power, we will also do Preikestolvegen that day.

after 55 km and 800 meters of elevation gain - surroundings of Jorpeland photo02 - in this case there is a spike on the elevation profile, do not rely on it because this section is a tunnel, so we will only reach a maximum height of 200 meters.

Day 02 There is one lodging option this day, i.e. camping. At the campsite there are cabins, a tent field, access to bathrooms, etc.... Distances to cover: Option 01 - 47 km (if lodging the day before was version 01) with 900 meters of elevation gain Option 02 - 40 km (if lodging is version 02) with 550 meters of elevation gain.

I would not change this day because the main point is to reach Preikostolen. If someone wants more, we will do an additional loop.

Day three is a loop around Tau and a ferry (17 km) to Stavanger. Passing through the city and a loop around the surroundings. Only 360 meters of elevation gain to cover that day, so the route is doable. That is why I planned a maximum route of 65 km. But obviously, it can be shortened, as seen on the map.
