Anyone who enjoys special moments in remarkable locations during their rides will truly enjoy this one. But beware, the route is only suitable for well-trained cyclists. There are considerable altitude changes to overcome repeatedly. The paths mainly lead along low-traffic roads and paved forest paths, with some kilometers of former railway tracks included as well. The route is not suitable for racing bikes or pure road bikes due to the forest paths. I personally rode the route on a cyclocross bike.

Note: From Unterburg towards the Müngsten Bridge, one can choose to ride either to the right or to the left along the Wupper. In the flow direction to the left, it is necessary to cross via ferry in Müngsten. On the right side of the flow direction of the Wupper is the main cycling path to the Müngsten Bridge.
