After a rest day and a transfer to southern Italy, the Giro begins its fourth stage with a flat 120 km from Catanzaro to the Tyrrhenian coast. There are two fast and sharp climbs up Bonifati and San Pietro di Maierà and picturesque Praia a Mare awaits with a first-time Giro d'Italia finish.

 

Nach einem Ruhetag und dem Transfer nach Süditalien beginnt die vierte Etappe des Giro mit einer relativ flachen 120 km langen Strecke von Catanzaro bis zum Thyrrenischen Meer. Dann gibt es zwei schnelle Anstiege auf Bonifati und San PIetro di Maierà. Zum ersten Mal endet eine Etappe im malerischen Praia a Mare.
