From Bressanone to Bolzano, this stage follows the Isarco river valley - slightly downhill - until it meets the Mendel pass. A steep climb and a long gradual descent around Lago di Santa Giustina prepare riders for their final vigorous ascent to Fai della Paganella before finishing in Andalo.

 

Von Brixen nach Bozen folgt diese Etappe dem Eisacktal - leicht bergabwärts - bis es auf den Medel Pass stößt. Eine anspruchsvolle Auffahrt und eine lange, sanfte Abfahrt um den schönen Santa-Giustina-See sollen die Radrennfahrer auf ihre abschließende Auffahrt nach Fai della Paganella vorbereiten. Ausklang ist in Andalo.
