Because of the tunnels at Lago di Sauris, a lighting system is more than recommended.
The descent from Lago di Sauris to Ampezzo is not recommended, as the tunnels are still all paved with cobblestones, which are also always wet. => Risk of slipping. At Passo di Pura you have a great view down to Tolmezzo.
