About This Route

Initially more narrow, busy roads - this improves and quietens down after crossing the M74.

After Eaglesham there is a climb over the moor - followed by an amazing descent along a wide, well-paved cycle lane beside the A77.

The ride along the east coast of Arran is glorious, followed by a long climb as the road turns inland - but if you ate and rested well on the ferry, it shouldn't be a problem.

Accommodation in the excellent Lochranza SYHA-affiliated hostel.
