About This Route

Mostly minor roads, through a couple of the nicer villages/small towns in the southern peak district.  Also takes in as many of the steepest local hills as I can reasonably squeeze in to a morning ride (and it's not called 'the peak district' for nothing).  Don't even start it unless you want some climbing practice and make sure your brakes are working properly.  Plenty of cafe stops: 'The Loaf' in crich (on the right as you leave the market place), probably my favourite, but there's plenty of others fairly regularly spaced round the rest of the route.
