About this route
Departure and return from Caldarola square, as usual.
We start and cover the first 12 km to reach SM Maddalena, then descend to Collemese and arrive at the Fiastra balcony, Fiegni side.
From there, we do a loop at the Fiegni campsite and head to Fiastra village to begin the climb of Monte Coglia up to Pian del Capriolo, above the Fiastra antennas with a stop at the trocchi.
Once at altitude, we follow Pian del Capriolo to reach the Le Casette restaurant for a nice sandwich, then descend to Fiordimonte.
Then asphalt from Pievebogliana, with a nature trail around Lake Polverina and the old state road that leads home.
More than 70 km with asphalt sections, long but manageable climbs, and a nice tour of our area.
A great ride in the company of many friends!
