About this route
Starting with a canoe trip to Stickhausen (just downstream from Leer). We began right in front of the motorhome harbor in Barßel, first paddling down the Soeste, then into the Barßeler Canal, from there along the Jümme northward towards Stickhausen.
In Stickhausen, we returned the canoe and were given a three-speed bike by the tour company for the return trip to Barßel.
Lunch at Jümmesee, at the restaurant of the local campsite. The return journey by bike then followed the Jümme all the way to the village of Roggenberg, from where we went back "overland" to the motorhome site in Barßel.
