About This Route

This was a great route, though too much traffic on D17 and much of the D4085/N85 portions. Beautiful scenery.

We did this in a terrible headwind that forced us to dismount a few times and push the bikes. Coming into the Clue de Taulanne, the wind was so strong it was hard to even push them. (We carry pretty heavy saddlebags.)

Great descent into Castellane.
