Der 32m hohe Wasserfall zählt zu den höchsten freifallenden Wasserfällen in Baden-Württemberg und zu den schönsten im Schwarzwald. Über eine senkrecht aufsteigende Felswand stürzen die Wasser des Burgbachs zu Tal.
