My Ebike tours lead over quiet roads, bike paths, asphalted side roads, through meadows, fields, and forests whenever possible. Day trips are about 70-90 km, pure riding time is about 4-5 hours.

I never take this route on weekends: too many hikers. It's uncomfortable for both sides, and sometimes it's even prohibited for cyclists. During the week there's no problem. The return trip from Rapperswil to Lachen is not so great. Should I take the bridge over the dam (car traffic) or walk part of the way along the wooden walkway? From Seedamm-Ende to Lachen, there might be a path along the lake, but it's actually just a footpath (rarely used on weekdays), sometimes poorly suited for riding and partially with a traffic ban. Only for cars or also for bikes? The rest, from the starting point to Rapperswil, is very good.
