Carmona-sur

Mixed route, 30% paved and 70% sand, gravel, and pebble paths. Ascents and descents with considerable slopes. Medium-low difficulty. Departure from the castle of Carmona. Heading towards Lora, once on the outskirts of the village, you can see the cave "la batida", which is very close to the left on the way. Next, the brakes will be tested on a very steep descent parallel to the highway. Before and during the descent, you can see the bridge and the Roman road, which we will leave on the right.

We join the old National Road IV, which we will follow until we reach the service road of the highway, where we will continue. When we reach the height of a farm, we turn right and traverse some typical farmland paths until we reach the road to Marchena. After a few kilometers towards Carmona, there is an uphill section with a very sharp turn to the right and a downhill path to the left. If we take the path, it leads us to the Green Way of Alcores, which goes all the way to Alcalá de Guadaira. We take the Green Way until we see a farmhouse on the right and a football field on top of the rise. This uphill path is steep and crosses a stream and passes by the old anise factory of the Brothers.

At the end of the climb, we come out to a roundabout where there is a Lidl. From there, going straight, we reach the starting point.
