About This Route

Variante de la otra ruta que baja hasta San Rafael desde el Collado de la Marichiva y, posteriormente sube hasta el Collado del Hornillo desde la Ermita del Carmen de San Rafael. En este caso, antes de bajar a Gudillos, en el paso que sube desde La Panera,  se sube al puerto por una pista hasta la casa de peones camineros del lado del puerto de San Rafael. Las rampas, desde Cercedilla, por este camino, son durillas. Desde el bombeo, en Cercedilla, al lado de la vía, puede cogerse un atajo, pero es más duro todavía.
