Hammeranstiege: 5 Berge (Teil 3: Wasserkuppe & Hohe Rhön bis Oberfladungen)

I went up the MTB trail to Wasserkuppe – very steep from the road, but manageable; once at the top, it was already dark all around; then I rode to Heidelstein in a hailstorm – very heavy – but fortunately the temperatures stayed up high, so I was able to dry off and, most importantly, not get chilled; so I continued on the Hohe Rhön toward the Schwarzen Moor and descended the old road to Leubach right at the border; in Oberfladungen I encountered the outward route again – up to the Hohen Kreuz the path was identical.
