Passo del Vivione

92 km; 2100 hm; The tour requires strong legs, but the wonderful mountain pass road compensates for the efforts on the mountain. The start and end of the tours through the Bergamasque Alps is Darfo-Boario Terme. Following the Val Camonica, it goes along the Oglio River, and behind Forno Allione, the ascent to Passo del Vivione begins. With gradients of up to 12 percent, it climbs to 1828 meters above sea level. A winding descent follows, and along the Dezzo, it traverses the Valle di Scalve back to the starting point, passing through Angolo Terme. On the last section, unlit tunnels must be traversed at times. Here, lighting is recommended.
