About this route
Gornergrat normal route, my favorite. Usually quite a few hikers from 11 am to 4 pm. Great during off-peak times, but currently probably unproblematic at any time. Up to Riffelberg you can basically ride anything you find. From Riffelberg there are 4 options; this one is my favorite from Riffelberg to Riffelalp. From Riffelalp definitely take this trail. There is another path, but I don't find it as good.
