Narrow road along the Ulvik fjord to Vallavik. Cross the Hardangerfjord bridge to Bu and further to Kinsarvik, where there may be some traffic. Ferry across the Hardangerfjord to Utne. From Utne to Herand on a narrow, less trafficed road ups and downs. Hopefully all will reach the small ferry from Herand to Norheimsund (leaving Herand at 05.07.pm sharp!). Last piece from Norheimsund to Øystese is easy, arriving at Hardanger fjordhotel.
