Starting from Bobbio, follow the SS 45 of Val Trebbia to Corte Brugnatella. Turn left onto the SS 586 Valle dell'Aveto, passing through Marsaglia, Sanguineto, Salsominore, reaching Rezzoaglio after 38 km of predominantly uphill road. Continue on the SS 586 dell'Aveto through Isolarotonda, Molini, Farfarosa, to Parazzuolo. Here, turn right onto Strada Ventarola and after about 2 km, you reach the refuge.
